I travel to Turkey September last year for holiday with few friends, The Ephesus was one of our visit, the place is an ancient Greek city on the west coast of Anatolia.
In the Roman period, it was for many years the second largest city of the Roman Empire ranking behind Rome, the empire's capital. Ephesus had a population of more than 250,000 in the 1st century BC, which also made it the second largest city in the world.
This is the Roman toilets back in the days. Please don't sit next to me!
one of the 1st ads in the world -frozen in time. notes in wallet, Love sign, men sign, step this way to the brothel.
At Ephesus here you can buy some souvenirs to bring home to your friends and family.
