Expo Axis Night View Of Shanghai World Expo 2010

The Expo Axis is one of the world's largest membrane roof, which spans the entrance and boulevard building of the World Exposition 2010 in Shanghai.


The combination of the membrane structure, which has a surface of 65,000 m² in total with a span of 100 m, and the six steel glass funnels of 45 m height, formed of a free form double-curved framework, constitutes the landmark of the Expo Shanghai 2010.

Bruce Lee Red Sculptures Displayed In Shanghai Expo 2010

There is about 110 Bruce Lee red sculpture display in front of the Pavilion of Future in the Urban Best Practices Area at the Shanghai Expo. Many visitors and fans came and imitate Bruce Lee Legendary high flying Kung Fu kick pose.

According to the sponsor whoever can pose like the Bruce Lee sculptures the winners will be rewarded a total of 150,600 yuan and the photo of the grand prize winner may also become the prototype of the "Kung Fu God of China." source

The Guangdong city of Foshan is known to the world as the hometown of the late martial artists Bruce Lee and Ip Man, as well as for its major industry of ceramics.

The China Pavilion is one of the most popular Pavilion at the expo, my cousin didn't go in the China Pavilion as the line is very long.

Finally sort out the photos got from my cousin who visit the Shanghai World Expo last month. The Malaysia Pavilion is one that many tourists visit, waiting in line is around 3 hours or more, here is few photos inside the Pavilion

My sister and her husband just came back from Shanghai Expo last month and here is few photos of the Shanghai Expo I manage to swap from her camera.

the ticket is RMB 160 for 1 day entry


It was closely packed, uncountable and never ending Chinese people rushing into the gate you can smell their body odour...oowww man.... the place pack like sardines....

Sadly my sister and her husband didn't visit inside the Pavilions as waiting in line is almost 3 hour... *faint* at each pavilions. I'll be going to Shanghai again this coming October to watch the closing ceremony of the Expo. So stay tune for my second visit to Shanghai again a visit to Shanghai World Expo 2010 soon.
