KUCHING: The retrieval of the AirAsia Airbus AK 5218 that skidded and stopped at the verge of Kuching International Airport (KIA) runway yesterday at 10.20pm forced the closure of the airport. As a result many flights – both those of AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines as well as those of several others – had to be cancelled. Lucky there no casualties.
Stephanie and tolanic, nothing to worry bout, tis type incident can happen to any aircraft or any airlines.... all in god's hands.... have safe journey dude.........
Oh! This is scary! I just came back from Manila on AirAsia plane! Everytime the plane lands, my heart starts to beat faster. I guess, if it's meant to be it's meant to be, and I can't worry too much about such things. Thank goodness no one was injured in the above incident.
